Or you could have one full brood box with 4 twin stock all stacked on one as I will be doing,  makes overwintering nucs rather efficient

Eric Beaumont

I have Abelo Nationals I recently spoke to Abelo about the crown board aparantly the wholes can be used to allow heat to rise If you are overwintering the brood box as a twin nucleus [aparntly these crown bords are the norm in Poland ]

He also said there is a new crown borad with just one hole in the centre comming soon as well as the divider for the brood box

I must say Im well impresed with the way poly hives perform going to treat myself to a few more

Thats is correct you can overfill your jars. Another myth is you have to put your name and address on your labels you do not have to if you only sell direct to the public

If you supply shops then you need to able to be traced from the information on the jar .I do not use my address because i like to keep the front label looking uncluttered
